Introdução
O livro “Living Together in Peace: Ubuntu and Youth, A Global Dialogue” é uma celebração dos princípios da filosofia Ubuntu aplicada ao contexto global da juventude e da construção de paz. Desenvolvido no âmbito do projeto Ubuntu United Nations, esta obra reúne reflexões profundas e práticas inovadoras que abordam temas como a liderança servidora, a reconciliação, o diálogo inter-religioso e intercultural, e a superação de desigualdades sociais e económicas. Com contribuições de líderes globais, como laureados com o Prémio Nobel da Paz, e jovens representantes de 185 países, o livro promove uma visão inspiradora de unidade na diversidade e do poder do diálogo como ferramentas para um futuro mais justo e sustentável.
Os leitores são convidados a mergulhar em uma coleção diversificada de artigos, testemunhos e seminários que demonstram o impacto transformador da metodologia Ubuntu em contextos locais e globais. The Ubuntu United Nations is a project supported by the European Commission, through the Agência Nacional Erasmus + Juventude/Desporto (National Agency Erasmus + Youth/Sport). The project is promoted by Instituto Padre António Vieira (coordination), Fundación SM, Fundación Tomillo and Artevio Marketing SRO.
The dialogue platform for young people from all over the world that seeks to bring global changeagents to an intergenerational debate on the greatest current challenges. The program aims toreach young people from all countries with a seat in the United Nations, with the aim of engagingthem in the defense of Human Rights, Social Justice and Sustainable Development. The program also foresees the development of 4 Intellectual Products:
- Ubuntu Global Network online platform with a social network and resource library;
- An online facilitation toolkit;
- Book with contributions from participants and guests of Ubuntu United Nations training;
- Collection of tutorial videos Ubuntu Leaders Academy dynamics and methodology.
